David Deusner has always had a passion for acting. He has always loved entertaining people and used to tell his parents he wanted to be an actor. He also loved to imitate different actors from TV and Movies so he could make people laugh.
In fact, although he was a good student academically, David Deusner was always acting out in class and was often labeled the class clown. He would look for an opportunity to to get a laugh. Sometimes, it would come at just the right time, for example when a classmate was upset or if there was a day that the teacher seemed overly stressed-out, but most days, it proved to be more of a challenge for the teachers. Often below his “A’s” and “B’s” on his report cards where comments like David does well academically, but is constantly acting out in the classroom.
So when David Deusner expressed an interest in being an actor, his parents were quick to sign him up for acting classes at the local theater. David was so excited, and he hit the ground running. After a month of classes, David brought home a report from his theater teacher that read very different from his reports his parents were used to getting. It read, “David is a joy to have in our class, he is an “incredibly talented actor” and you should consider getting him some headshots and a manager.
David was so excited and was ready to move to Hollywood, but his parents did not have the same idea. Although they were excited that David had found something he loved and was good at, they wanted him to finish High School and go to college, and did not want him to become a starving actor in Hollywood. So, later that year for his birthday, his parents bought him a camera and David soon found a new passion in freelance photography.
David Deusner is still an aspiring actor today and over the years he has even taken the lead in a few plays, but with so many different hobbies, David settled in and found an appreciation for each one, although his favorite of all his hobbies was and still is Freelance photography. However, if the right part came along, David would still move to Hollywood to become an actor.
